At Capitol Cleaning we set out to remove all the hassle from your domestic cleaning needs. Hiring a professional service that can be relied upon, has never been easier.
Capitol Cleaning have been providing premium residential cleaning services for many years.
What makes us different is our staff. All our home cleaners are Full-Time professionals, they have been properly trained in our unique colour coded Cleaning System and because they work around 40 hours per week Mon-Fri they take their job very seriously. All our home cleaners are also DBS checked and fully insured against all eventualities so you can relax and enjoy your home while we get on with making it sparkle!
USE OUR DOMESTIC CLEANING SERVICE
Simply give us a call to arrange a no-obligation quotation for your home. It only takes around 15 minutes and where possible we can even do outside of usual office hours. Alternatively, if you can provide us with a description of your home, we can give you an idea of cost per visit.
Once a cleaning service is agreed you will receive an email confirmation, then on the agreed day and time a team of two, fully equipped, uniformed and briefed cleaners will arrive at your home ready to complete the clean.
We guarantee each and every clean we do, so should a team miss something we will have them return to re-do it.
DOMESTIC CLEANING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In these Terms and Conditions:
“Housework” describes Capitol Cleaning Home Cleaning.
Capitol Cleaning intend to rely on the terms included in this document. If you require any changes, please make sure that they are put in writing so that we can avoid any problems surrounding what you and we expect.
- PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS
3a. Price Changes/VAT
All prices are subject to change and inclusive of VAT. Prices will increase in line with the National Minimum Wage effective every April by the same percentage increase.
3b. Payment method
Housework or One-Off Clean customers may pay by cash/cheque or BACS.
3c. Minimum charges
AS per quqtation
3d. Payment timing
Payment must be made to Capitol Cleaning on of the day of the service.
- CANCELLATION /NON DELIVERY OF SERVICES
4a. Customer Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled clean by giving 48 hours notice in writing (email) otherwise the full amount will be payable
If the cleaning team are unable to gain access to your home to carry out the scheduled clean for any reason the full amount will be payable
4b. Capitol Cleaning Cancellation/Non Attendance
Capitol Cleaning not be responsible for any losses which happen and which were not foreseeable by you and us.
In such circumstances Capitol Cleaning will use its best endeavours to arrange an alternative time suitable to both parties for the performance of its services.
4c. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations
Where a booking constitutes a distance contract pursuant to the Consumer Contracts (Distance Selling) Regulations 2013, you will have the right to cancel the contract within 7 days of the formation of the contract, but you will not have the right to cancel the contract where the performance of the Housework has commenced.
- WORKING CONDITIONS
5a. Health & Safety
In order to protect the home cleaners, they are instructed to carry out an assessment prior to commencing any job and not to enter an environment they consider to be unsafe, dangerous to health, or inoperable for any reason, but are instructed to withdraw from the premises and to report the problem to management for further investigation.
In this event the customer will be charged 100% of the cost of the booking, should it be the negligence of the customer.
5b. Equal Opportunities

- USE OF CUSTOMERS’ EQUIPMENT
Our staff are strictly instructed not to use any of your personal equipment while in your home. You agree to permit staff members to use the telephone ONLY to call the Customer Service team on a local number if necessary.
7a. Key holding
Capitol Cleaning undertakes to provide absolute security for your keys at all times. In the unlikely event of any keys being lost by Capitol Cleaning, we will make appropriate arrangements as soon as reasonably possible. Capitol Cleaning shall not be liable for any loss or damage as a result of an unavoidable delay caused by you.
7b. Liability for death or personal injury
Nothing in this contract shall limit or exclude Capitol Cleaning liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
In the event of you being dissatisfied with the service you have received from Capitol Cleaning, you should contact the Capitol Cleaning Customer Service team within 24 Hours. Capitol Cleaning will endeavour to ensure that all your concerns and complaints are resolved quickly and amicably with our Customer Service team.
Damage to/ Loss of Property. In the event of damage or loss as a result of negligence, the liability of Capitol Cleaning shall be limited (at Capitol Cleaning discretion) to repair or the replacement cost of the item, as soon as reasonably possible taking into account its age and condition. Capitol Cleaning shall not in any event be liable for any loss of profit or consequential loss.
9b. Claiming Compensation
Any claim for compensation must be notified to the Customer Service team as soon as possible and in any event within 24 Hours of the damage occurring.
- USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
The information you give will be held and used by Capitol Cleaning to perform the business for which we are registered.
